Zora Ideale is a major supporting protagonist in anime/manga fantasy series, Black Clover. He served as the deuteragonist of the Royal Knights Arc.
Zora is a member of the Black Bulls Squad, being a wielder of Ash Magic in conjunction with Trap Magic. He's a mysterious and eccentric man who's devoted on taking out the corrupt magic knights, while protecting Clover Kingdom with his fellow squad mates.
He was voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa in the Japanese version, and by Johnny Yong Bosch in the English version.
Bio[]
Zora Ideale is part of the Black Bulls Magic Knight squad and the Royal Knight squad. His father was a magic knight, the first commoner in fact, and he was killed by his fellow squad members, who laughed at his passing. Zora overheard this and was enraged, vowing to avenge his father by taking out corrupt magic knights. Zora later infiltrates the royal knight selection process, planning to exact his revenge on as many knights as possible. However, his ideologies begin to change when he meets Asta, a commoner magic knight with no magic that never gives up. Zora finds a place that he belongs and joins the Black Bulls and helps protect the Clover Kingdom from evil.
Appearance[]
Zora has a thin build, Red messy hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. He wears series of black leather straps that wrap around his lower face, black shirt only covers his shoulders and upper arms, and black pants. Above his right eyebrow, Zora has two black stud piercings. Around both eyes, he has some kind of black pattern which circles and extends out to his hair.
Personality[]
Zora is shown to be highly disrespectful towards all sorts of people that he stumbles upon including Nobles, the Magic Emperor, and even his allies. He enjoys pulling pranks and knocking down the arrogant nobles and corrupt Magic Knights that believed have every right to control the kingdom.
He also possesses a critical demeanor, while mocking and insulting others, he criticizes them for their worth as a magic knight, in which one example is where he criticized Asta that not everyone is a nice person and he would one day regret that belief. Despite this, Zora truly wanted to change the system of Magic Knights for the better ever since his father's death was disrespected by other Magic Knights who discriminated him.

- Strategy: Zora is a master strategist. His plans are very unpredictable.

Zora's Magic Affinity is Ash.
- Trap Magic: Zora's specialty. They come in different form, including pitfall, paralysis, and counter. He can even set them in the air and on his body.
- Revelation of the Cowardly: Reveals the locations of his traps to his allies.
